What Browser/Device should I use?

RobotMagic is tested with modern browser like Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari on modern devices like iPhone, iPad, Android tablets, OSX and Windows 7, 8, and 10. We’ve found Chrome to provide the best experience.  To use RobotMagic with robots/arduinos, you’ll need to use Chrome and install the RobotMagic driver, more info here:

What age is RobotMagic designed for?

RobotMagic is ideal for students aged 7 to 16. Students start with simple challenges that don't assume any prior knowledge in programming and minimal STEM experience. Advanced students can create their own STEM worlds with JavaScript.

What is a World?

RobotMagic Worlds are rich environments in which challenges are played. Worlds are shown in a 3D viewer on the right side of the screen and include all sorts of objects and robots that you can manipulate using the worksheet on left side of the screen. You can solve challenges within a world, explore it, or even modify it to suit your style!

What is a Challenge?

RobotMagic Challenges are puzzles that take place in RobotMagic worlds. By solving challenges you learn about STEM, programming and critical thinking.

How do I solve a Challenge?

Each challenge comes with a description and a guided set of steps that are shown on the right side of the screen. Follow the instructions and you'll do great! If you're stuck, press the “Show Me” button to have RobotMagic show you what to do. You can also press “Hint” to get a hint. If you need help press the “Help” button at the top of the screen.
